LA Clippers: Three threats on the Mavericks that Clips will face
By Evan Desai
Tim Hardaway Jr. impressed vs. the Clips in his opportunities.
He scored 18, 21, and 15 points in the three games. He was a sharpshooter behind the three-point line, hitting 12 of his 24 shots in the three contests.
He was 21 of 38 from the field (55.3%), and the Clippers need to make sure he doesn’t heat up in the series.
We’ve seen what he’s capable of as a shooter, and the Clippers should not put themselves in a position where a guy like Hardaway can alter the series.
When taking on Dallas, everybody knows that Doncic is going to do his thing, and put the team on his back. Everybody knows what type of capabilities Porzingis has and what he means to a team. Allowing Hardaway to also step in and play a major role in the series would be a problem that there would be no excuse for.
He can be tough to defend though, and has put himself in position to be an important piece to his team and a threat to the Clippers.
He’s started each of his last eight games, and is a guy who may not have a huge profile, but can be a threat that the Clippers need to take care of early and often.
