LA Clippers 5 Most Interesting Games #4: Home vs. Milwaukee, March 29

Another intriguing game happens on March 29th, when the LA Clippers host the Milwaukee Bucks. Any Bucks vs. Clippers game has its fair share of excitement (like the one coming up tomorrow), but this one carries its own little twist.

The trade deadline for this weird season is on March 25th, so this will be the second game the LA Clippers play after the deadline. I expect that no huge moves will be made by either of these teams, but if the Clips have taught us anything, it’s that you can never be totally sure.

Also. Rumors: Team has potential interest in Kyle Lowry. light

We will have a pretty good idea by March 29th of what exactly the LA Clippers will look like in the playoffs. There will still be some potential for the buyout market to produce a guy for the Clips, but I’m skeptical of how much a buyout guy will really be playing in the postseason.

So, unlike the Bucks game tomorrow, both teams will likely have their playoffs rosters set at the end of March, and they’ll be working on getting their playoffs rotations going. A regular season game doesn’t perfectly predict the results of a postseason series, of course. That said, for what could very well be an NBA Finals preview, we have to get pretty excited.

Last year against the Bucks, the LA Clippers went 0-2 and shot 38.5% from the floor. Don’t take too much from that though, as both Kawhi Leonard and Paul George missed the first game, and the second game was after the first time they practiced together as teammates. They’ll be hoping to reverse those results this year, both tomorrow and on March 29 as the playoffs get closer. I’ll be excitedly watching to get an idea of how a potential postseason matchup could go.
