At this point of the 2020-2021 NBA season, several teams can claim that they are serious competitors for the NBA title. The LA Clippers (17-8) are among one of the top-five teams in the NBA.

This should come as no surprise due to the stellar performances of the dynamic duo in small forward Kawhi Leonard and shooting guard Paul George. They will have the rest of the season to grind and stay healthy especially with some injury concerns to George and point guard Patrick Beverley.

Every year, it seems like the LA Clippers are always in the hunt for a significant trade to boost their team for the playoff push. They look to be in the trade talks again this year to upgrade their team for this season and beyond.

Last year, the Clippers traded a first-round pick in the 2020 NBA Draft and guard Maurice Harkless to the New York Knicks for power forward Marcus Morris. The Clippers also traded Jerome Robinson to the Washington Wizards to complete the trade.

There are many rumors in the trade talks including some that involve the Clippers. They have already made it clear that former three-time sixth man of the year winner in shooting guard Lou Williams and Beverley are available on the trade block.

There isn’t any situation that would put Leonard, George, center Serge Ibaka, and Morris are on the trade block. All of the other players on the team are up for discussion. It wouldn’t be ideal, however, for Nicolas Batum to be traded away from a system where both he and the Clippers have excelled together.

There have been several trade rumors that spark an interest in the team but have remained quiet as always. We don’t know what Clippers’ general manager Michael Winger and special advisor Jerry West have in mind but they will do so that will benefit the team without trading away too many assets.

Here are the three previously discussed potential trade packages for the Clippers in order from worst to best.
