3 things the LA Clippers want for Christmas in 2020

Here are the top three things the LA Clippers want for Christmas.

The LA Clippers may have won their first game of the season on Tuesday but it’s just the beginning. On Christmas Day, they face off against the same team that eliminated them from the playoffs last season, the Denver Nuggets. While a win against them would be nice, the Clips have their eyes on bigger presents on this year’s Christmas list.

Here are the top three:

1. LA Clippers Christmas List: Health

This is the simplest thing the LA Clippers can ask Santa Claus for this season. They already have a starter out in Marcus Morris as he deals with knee soreness. While Nicolas Batum served well in his absence in game one, it’s obvious that the Clips need Mook back.

His injury doesn’t seem to be too serious but the team could use some good fortune.

That’s why the Clippers need to make sure Santa knows that health is a key to their success in 2020 and into 2021.

Last season, the injury bug was always present starting with Paul George missing the start of the season as he recovered from surgery on both shoulders and later had hamstring issues. Patrick Beverley was forced to miss time. Kawhi Leonard had to manage his chronic knee injury.

It all culminated in the team playing less than ten games with a fully healthy roster. Yeah, that’s not great. With COVID-19 lurking still, there’s also the possibility a player contracts it and is forced to miss time.

That cannot happen this year. The Clippers need as much time together as possible in order to build chemistry this season. Speaking of…
