LA Clippers and Houston Rockets get the Washington Wizards involved

This took a bit of thinking but I think ultimately it works for all three teams if and only if Houston is also able to deal Russell Westbrook. There are already rumors that the New York Knicks are interested in him so if the Rockets can send him to The Big Apple, they can afford to bring in John Wall.

What this does for the Rockets is gives them a bunch of young assets and picks between the two different trades. Having Wall’s contract on the books is rough but it’s the only way the money can really work.

For the Wizards, they are getting George and Williams, two players who can help them rise in the East when partnered alongside Bradley Beal. The Wizards have fallen short year after year, so this deal might give them enough of a boost to at least challenge some in the East. With Beal still being in his prime, the Wizards can make some more playoff pushes while getting rid of a regrettable John Wall contract in the process.

The Clippers give up four players, three of which are in their current rotation but get James Harden for at least two more seasons. His scoring carries the team in the regular season while Kawhi Leonard can continue to load manage. In the playoffs, the two are an offensive juggernaut who can play either beside each other or staggered.

Which of these three trades do you like most? What would you give up for Harden, if anything? Let us know on Twitter and continue to check back here for all your LA Clippers news, rumors, and more!
