2. Paul George
I have been trying to defend Paul George through this series. After last game, I made a point of how effective he had been in other parts of his game despite the poor shooting.
At some point though, the poor shooting starts to outweigh everything else.
Paul George is 10-of-47 from the floor from Games 2-4 in this series.

How bad was it today? He made just three of fourteen. That’s just 21.4% from the floor. From deep, he was just one of seven. That’s 14.3%. Just horrible.
PG knows he can’t keep shooting like this.
Paul George - “Yeah I play the game confidently. The shots I’m taking I’m expecting to make. It just is what it is: I’m just missing shots. I don’t think it’s from a confidence standpoint... I gotta help the team. I’m aware of that and I will get to that point.”#Clippers pic.twitter.com/DmaUVoKQAE

I honestly think at this point he needs to change up his shot selection. Obviously the shots from deep are not falling. 14% is horrible. What he needs to do is put his head down and attack the rim. PG only having two attempts from the free-throw line shows that he’s not doing that at all.
Granted, he did it for two possessions in overtime, converting on one of the shots. That’s what has to happen going forward. If he can see the ball go through the hoop a couple of times, it might shake him out of his mental funk and help those deep shots to fall.
George is saying the right things but Clipper Nation needs to see that execution happen before we can restore our confidence in him.
