3. Reggie Jackson

Hey! We’re back here again! Want to make a Clipper fan cry today? Show them this video:

I just rewatched and am ready to bang my head on the desk. The sequence starting at 1:52 is particularly painful, especially given that the team was just down one possession. That shot had me at the moment channeling my inner Patrick Ewing and I sure hope Doc Rivers did too.

Reggie made a couple of threes. Big whoop. His 11 points look okay on a stat sheet but all of Clipper Nation has to be in agreement at this point that he is just flat out unplayable in this series. It’s not just offensively.

Dallas’ collective mouths are watering when they see Reggie out there defensively. Over the two games in this series, Dallas has scored 84 points on 61 defensive possessions with Reggie Jackson on the floor. (Shout out to Joseph Raya Ward for that stat!)

At this point, I’m convinced you cannot teach an old dog new tricks. Maybe this section shouldn’t have been titled “Reggie Jackson” and should have been something more along the lines of him needing to be benched immediately.

Next. Blake Griffin still has love for time with Clippers. dark
