Game 2: New Orleans Pelicans vs LA Clippers

The last time both teams played was back on January 18th as the Clippers narrowly escaped the Bayou with a 133-130 win. During that game, the Pelicans were without star rookie Zion Williamson and the Clippers were without Paul George.

With over 3 months to rehab and recover from nagging injuries, this will be the first time in Zion’s career that he will play the Clippers.

This run and gun Pelicans rubs off some Lob City vibes as all they do is get out and run out on transition.

The Clippers will be more relaxed and settled down in Game 2 of the restart season and should be able to handle this inexperienced Pelicans team.

If this game is like the 3 previous meetings then expect it to come down to the final minutes.

I give the edge to the Clippers this game as they will ride their second unit tandem in Lou Williams and Montrezl Harrell.

Record: (1-1, 45-21)

Game 3: Phoenix Suns vs LA Clippers

The Suns’ duo of Booker and Ayton has given the Clippers some fits during their games this season. Phoenix will be without Kelly Oubre Jr. for the rest of the season as he underwent surgery back before the season was postponed.

By Game 3, the Clippers should have their groove back. Phoenix has no one to defend Kawhi and PG-13 but watch out for Marcus Morris Sr. this game.

Morris Sr. shot poorly back when he was first acquired in February but now getting this time to gel and mesh with his new teammates will benefit him greatly.

I don’t expect this game to be a blowout but the Clips should have no problem taking care of Phoenix.

Record: (2-1, 46-21)
