Keep waiting LA Clippers’ fans. The NBA likely won’t decide on resuming or not on Friday.

LA Clippers’ fans and fans everywhere will have to keep waiting for the NBA to make a decision regarding continuing play despite a call with the league’s Board of Governors having a scheduled call on Friday.

This news stems from an article on ESPN.com co-reported by Ramona Shelburne and Adrian Wojnarowski. While that’s not what fans want to hear, the rest of the article seems very positive otherwise.

For starters, it seems pretty set in stone that the league will have all their teams relocate to Disney World in Orlando Florida. This plan has been discussed over the past few weeks but now seems like the final decision. Players may also be able to have their family members join them once the elimination of a few teams has occurred.

The league is being extremely thorough in keeping the players and staff safe, with testing being given to all family members that enter the protected bubble.

The main reason the season resuming won’t be decided on Friday is due to the league still discussing a number of ways to finish out the year including a play-in tournament, just continuing the regular season or other options.

If the league does opt to go the tournament route, the LA Clippers will have an extremely tough draw. Fans should hope that there is some continuation of the regular season as it may shake up the seeding just enough to give them a slightly easier path.

The anticipation for a decision is building each and every day but even though an announcement Friday is unlikely, it sounds like we are at most a week or two out from getting “The NBA is back” tweeted out by one of Shams or Woj. Hang tight Clipper Nation. We’re almost back!
