Comparing Montrezl Harrell and Dennis Rodman

  • 1997-98 Bulls: Dennis Rodman
  • 2019-20 Clippers: Montrezl Harrell

Hungry, tenacious, and energized are what describe both Dennis Rodman and Montrezl Harrell. Both players are undersized forwards who always seem to find their way to any loose ball and come away with it.

Though Harrell will most likely not leave the team for a vacation in Vegas or join Hulk Hogan’s “NWO” during the Finals but when the team needs an electrifying play or effort by diving on the floor, Montrezl is your man to do it like Rodman.

Just like how Michael Jordan described Rodman as giving it his all on the floor, the same applies to Montrezl. Rodman was a more polished defender and rebounder than Harrell but Harrell’s post-game and ability to get to the rim is the only difference between both players.

Both of these players don’t lack motor’s or by all means, may not even know when to shut off the motor, their determination and work-ethic is rare in today’s game.

Montrezl is constantly in the gym, working on his craft and perfecting his game to help ease the load off fellow sixth-man, Lou Williams.
