Did you really think we’d make it to end without one mention of Scott Burrell? Constantly being joked with and picked on by Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen in good fashion, Burrell’s confidence grew as both stars took him under their wings.
Behind closed doors we may not see if Kawhi Leonard or Paul George have messed with Terance Mann (they have), but it is apparent that both stars are giving Mann the “Burrell” treatment during his rookie season.
The hope for Mann is that his game and confidence can accelerate so he could eventually get playing time next season should an injury happen or if current backup point guard Reggie Jackson decides to leave in free agency.
