16 points lead to blowout win over Warriors in best Clippers’ performance
So we all remember when basketball was being played right? Well, Reggie Jackson probably does because the March 10 victory over the Warriors saw his best scoring output in a LA Clippers uniform and was the last contest played by the Clippers before the league halted operations due to the coronavirus.
Jackson’s 16 points were apart of the huge outburst of points from the bench following the team’s first loss to the Los Angeles Lakers.
I would say the main reason this was a huge moment for Jackson is that he was finally establishing himself as a major asset to the Clippers’ plans for an NBA Championship, using his scoring ability alongside Lou Williams and Montrezl Harrell to flat out take over the contest and run away with a victory.
Jackson’s moments with the Clippers have also been short-lived due to his limited time with the team before the league stopped playing but the likelihood that Jackson resigns with the team this summer is very high as he sees himself as a role player on a very good roster.
Happy birthday Reggie Jackson. We hope to see you back on the court soon, hopefully in a LA Clippers uniform.
