Jackson scores 26 in fourth to lead a comeback against Portland
Jackson’s time in Detroit saw some pretty amazing moments but one of them, if not the best, came on November 8, 2015, when he scored a career-high 40 points with 26 of those coming the fourth to lead the Pistons to a comeback win over the Portland Trailblazers.
The Pistons trailed by 18 points at one point in the contest but Jackson’s 40 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists led the Pistons back to an eventual 17 point victory.
Jackson’s scoring ability led him to outplay star point guard Damian Lillard in this contest and along with Andre Drummond‘s 29 points, the Pistons won their fifth contest of the season to get off to an impressive 5-1 start.
The Pistons did finish with a 44-38 record en route to the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference in 2015-2016 and Jackson was a huge asset to that happening despite losing to a LeBron led Cavs team in four games in round one.
Nevertheless, his 40 point output against Portland was his best scoring performance of his career and still stands as his career-high today.
