Jackson scores 32 en route to a playoff victory over Memphis
Reggie Jackson was drafted by the Oklahoma City Thunder in 2011 at pick 24 for his scoring ability and he put it on full display in game four against the Memphis Grizzlies in 2014.
Jackson scored 32 points in the victory over the Grizzlies and flirted with a double-double by dishing out nine assists with the help of Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook.
The performance was crucial from Jackson as the Thunder trailed the Grizzlies 2-1 and were in Memphis for game four. Down 80-75, Jackson hit a contested step-back three with one minute remaining with the announcer coining him “Action Jackson”.
He followed up the three-pointer with a floater to time the game at 80 with 30 seconds remaining, continuously coming up in the clutch for the Thunder. Jackson then made four free throws late in overtime to seal the victory for the Thunder and tie the series at two games a piece which would eventually lead OKC to a series victory in seven games.
This was arguably Jackson’s best playoff moment of his career and still stands as his playoff career-high.
