Neither of the LA Clippers players advanced to the 2K Tourney Finals as both Montrezl Harrell and Patrick Beverley lost in two games in the semifinals.
We didn’t get two LA Clippers players facing each other in the 2K Tournament Finals. In fact, we didn’t even get one Clipper to represent us. Both Patrick Beverley and Montrezl Harrell lost in two games in the semifinals to Deandre Ayton and Devin Booker respectively.
The first matchup of the night was Harrell versus Booker. Devin Booker looked great in the first game, blowing out Trezz with his own LA Clippers. Trezz used the Houston Rockets but just couldn’t compete. It even got the point where Booker asked Trezz wanted to just call the game early so they could start the second.
The second game was much closer. Harrell used the Milwaukee Bucks while Booker went with the Toronto Raptors. Down by two late in the fourth, Trezz had Giannis Antetokounmpo driving towards the rim. Booker managed to steal the ball away with Fred VanVleet, sealing his victory and a trip to the finals.

In the first game of the second matchup, Patrick Beverley used the Boston Celtics while Deandre Ayton went with the Brooklyn Nets. Keep in mind, all these rosters were 100% healthy meaning Ayton had the advantage of Kevin Durant on his roster. The combination of him and Kyrie Irving proved to be too much for Beverley.
The second game came as a shock. Ayton went with his own Phoenix Suns while Beverley opted to use the Denver Nuggets. On paper, the Nuggets should have run away with it. The opposite happened though. Beverley couldn’t hang as Ayton went to work with his virtual counterpart and took the second game as well. Bev was understandably shook, telling Ayton good game before just walking off camera.

The basketball world ended up with two Phoenix Suns matching up in the finals. Ultimately, Devin Booker proved to be the better of the two, winning the championship and nearly causing Ayton to quit the second and final game early.
With no Clippers winning this, we’ll have to turn our hopes to the HORSE competition airing on ESPN on Sunday. A few former Clippers (Chris Paul, Chauncey Billups, and Paul Pierce) will be competing in that and are hopefully able to pull out a victory.
