5) New Orleans Pelicans – 76.4 average rating

The lowest rated team on my list comes in at number five. While the New Orleans Pelicans have a lot of potential talent, they are young and don’t have the experience.

You know where that doesn’t matter? 2K.

Zion Williamson. Jrue Holiday. Brandon Ingram. JJ Redick. Lonzo Ball.

Players using the Pelicans have a plethora of scoring options and can make this young Pelicans team deadly. Dunk animations in 2K are easy to trigger and people using Zion can benefit from that. Lobs are also effective, making the Zion/Lonzo pairing even better than their real-life counterparts have been.

Brandon Ingram is a walking bucket. His size will allow him to shoot over most perimeter defenders. Should they double, JJ Redick is a premier shooter and will make defenses pay.

Jrue Holiday is great on both ends of the floor, making this team deadly all around.

There is a lack of rim protection between Derrick Favors and Jaxson Hayes but that shouldn’t stop anyone from using this team.
