I know, I know. 2K is dominated by wings who can shoot so why in the world do I have the Philadelphia 76ers at six despite Ben Simmons not having a jumper and the team’s best player being a center.

Joel Embiid is just good. It’s that easy. Sometimes it’s fun to zig while the rest of the group is zagging. The post-game in 2K can be effective and if other guys are using a squad with weak centers, Embiid could be an absolute monster.

Really. Just imagine if Bev or Trezz’s opponent selects the Houston Rockets while they pick the Sixers. Embiid is dominating.

Simmons is also still very useful in 2K (like in real life) when he’s attacking the basket. His size at the guard position will give opponents trouble stopping him one on one.

If they do double, Tobias Harris is more than capable of being a third scorer. He can score from everywhere on the court and opens up the offense.

The other big help here is rookie Matisse Thybulle who is an elite defender. Players can sub him in and lock down opponents. While he isn’t a huge offensive threat in real life, he’s usable enough in 2K.
