Despite not being the most storied of franchises, the LA Clippers have had some very good players play for them. Let’s look at the First Team All-Clippers team.

The Clippers have had some quality players put on the jersey throughout their history, going all the way back to their time in Buffalo. Since there’s nothing better to do right now than make lists, I’m going to put together my First Team All-Clippers squad.

The main caveat I want to get out of the way is that, for First Team, time spent with the Clippers/Braves matters to me. So, for example, is Kawhi Leonard potentially the best player to ever wear the jersey? Yes. Will he, in all likelihood, be on the First Team at the end of his career? yes. But he’s only played a little over half a season with the Clippers, so he’ll have to be bumped right now. (No hard feelings Kawhi. I love you.)

That’s also going to inform a decision I make at the guard spot. If I have two players, and Player B wasn’t quiiiiite as good as Player A but he played with the Clippers for much longer, I tend to lean toward Player B.

With that said, half the reason we make and read lists like this is to yell at each other, so bring it on if you disagree.

In the coming few weeks, I plan to make a Second and Third team as well, so keep your eyes out for that.

With all those preludes out of the way, let’s jump into the guards!
