Avery Bradley of the Los Angeles Lakers is the newest player who is feeling good after the Lakers got their first win over the LA Clippers.

I guess Lakers players have nothing better to do during the NBA’s hiatus than talk about the LA Clippers. Avery Bradley is the latest player to talk about the Lakers’ recent win over the Clippers.

In an interview on Inside the Green Room on March 11, Bradley addressed the win saying the Lakers learned they could be better than the first two matchups.

"“In the last game, I felt like we were just a much better team. We knew we were better than what we played the two previous games, and we knew we had room for improvement. We made that room, and we still have much more room for improvement, but we just came out with the mindset of be the tougher team, the team that was going to be able to execute, the team that was going to be able to fight through the adversity and be able to respond throughout the entire game, and I felt like we did a great job of doing that.”"

I won’t even argue with Bradley here. The Lakers looked a lot better in the team’s third meeting with the Clippers. But as we’ve looked into before, that may not be sustainable in a seven-game series. Bradley himself went for a season-high 24 points which included six makes from three.

Given he is averaging just 8.6 points on the season, we have to assume that won’t be a recurring theme if and when the postseason happens. The Lakers have other options like Danny Green or Kyle Kuzma who can get hot but based on the three games between the two Los Angeles franchises, it looks like a big night by one of the Lakers’ role players is a requirement for them to get a win.

The Lakers are feeling good about their March 8 victory over the LA Clippers. It’s fair to look at your most recent game and feel confident. The Clippers have no reason to fear the Lakers though and have the pieces in place to beat them in the postseason. Let’s just hope we get to see that series happen.
