Worst games

December 6 – Milwaukee destroys the Clips

Having barely lost to Milwaukee in November with no Kawhi or PG active, we figured the second time playing the Eastern Conference’s top team would be one heck of a game.

It was not.

The Bucks came out and beat down the Clippers, winning 119-91. It was one of those games where the score looks a lot closer than the game actually was.

Clipper Nation was shaken up after the loss, understandably.

January 22 – Clippers blow 21 point lead in Atlanta

We still don’t know what happened here, except that the fans who want Ivica Zubac to get more minutes were even louder. Granted, Kawhi Leonard, Paul George, and Patrick Beverley did not play in this contest but the Clippers had a 21 point lead on one of the worst teams in the NBA.

The team completely ran out of gas in the second half and gave up a ton of offensive rebounds while Ivica Zubac wasted away on the bench. It was a horrible look.

January 30 – Kings light up LA from deep

The Sacramento Kings came in and hit 21 three-pointers on the Clippers. Paul George scored just 8 points total and Kawhi Leonard did not play. What else do you need to know? The game was awful.

February 8 – Clippers lose to newly assembled Timberwolves

Happening just a couple of weeks ago, I doubt Clipper Nation needs a reminder. The Clippers gave up 142 points to a Timberwolves team that was playing an amalgamation of players they had just received at the trade deadline.

There was no reasoning for the loss as the Clippers just looked discombobulated. The team had just acquired Marcus Morris but he did not play in the contest.
