The Woj trade tweet no one cares about club

8. JaMychal Green

Green returned to the LA Clippers this past offseason on less money to play for with a winning roster but Green could very well be moved at the deadline as a minor piece of a multi-player deal with another team.

The 29-year old forward does a fabulous job at stretching the floor and makes about $5 million on his contract, so his offer sheet is very affordable and flexible when putting it on the trade market.

The likelihood that Green would be involved in a player swap is highly unlikely as he’d like to be packaged with another player in efforts to attain a wing player and upgrade perimeter shooting, but don’t count out Green being apart of a deal at the deadline.

7. Patrick Patterson

Much like Green, Patterson has done a phenomenal job at stretching the floor for Doc Rivers and company and his veteran’s minimum salary could be enticing for other teams who may be looking for floor spacing from their frontcourt.

Patterson has already hit the age 30 mark which could diminish his value to other teams but his flexibility contract wise would be available if the Clippers want to add a piece but need extra assets to make a deal sweeter and Patterson’s veteran presence can help the Clippers and opposing locker rooms as well.

6. Rodney McGruder

McGruder was a late addition to the LA Clippers this offseason and his 17 minutes a night average has stayed pretty consistent with his play being solid as a tenth man in the rotation.

By no means is McGruder blowing anyone with his play as he usually averages a bucket a game and about three rebounds per game while helping space to the floor for shooters around him and he has quietly been a valuable asset off the bench for the Clippers.

McGruder makes roughly $5 million this season and his contract is very team-friendly for anyone pursuing a solid energy player to add to their rotation. His name, of course, has not been brought up in many trades but the salary number he makes could help snag a good player who makes around $18-20 million when adding other players to the mix.
