Twitter overreacting

We are just 32 games into the LA Clippers season. Yes, there have been some rough losses but every. single. one. has been met with criticism like the sky is falling in. Don’t believe me? Conveniently enough, the Clippers blew a game on Sunday in Oklahoma City.

Before I list these out, remember they were playing a decent Oklahoma City Thunder team on the second night of an away and away back-to-back. We also were without both Kawhi Leonard and Patrick Beverley. That didn’t stop you, Clippers’ twitter. Here are the tweets:

It’s even gotten to the point of overreaction where our own contributors are suggesting trading Lou Williams. Cannon, we still love you.

Fans love to overreact. The media loves to overreact. But c’mon. We have the fourth-best record in the West and literally have not played a single game this season with an entirely healthy roster. We knew coming into the season that Kawhi would most likely be getting load managed, no matter what Doc may have said.

I know it’s in our Clipper Nation blood to be as negative as possible. But let’s just take the holidays to appreciate what we have been blessed with. If you want to air your grievances with the team today on Festivus, feel free. But after that, let’s chill a little. The sky isn’t falling yet.

Do you have grievances to get out on Festivus? Send them to us on Twitter and keep checking back here for all your Clippers’ news and updates.
