Happy holidays Clipper Nation! As the holiday season is rapidly approaching, it’s time to give Santa a wishlist for the LA Clippers.

The holidays are upon us! For the LA Clippers, the season has been decent so far but that doesn’t mean there are some things we want from Santa Claus.

Dear Santa,

We are asking for the following things:

A healthy roster

The Clippers are yet to play a game with a fully healthy roster. The Clippers have played great almost two months into the season. They have won some incredible games. However, the thought of them at full strength will be a scary sight. The Clippers must ask Santa for a healthy roster come April. The Clippers need a healthy roster soon so that all they can build team chemistry. Therefore, by April, the Clippers will be unstoppable.

The ability to close games

Some Clipper games this year have almost given me a heart attack. I will step out for a moment during the game to the Clippers winning by 20 points, and when I return eight minutes later, they are clutching on to a mere five point lead. The ability to hold leads feels like it’s been a problem now for a while. This idea goes back to the 2016 series with Houston. There has been a number of games this year where the Clippers had a strong lead but were unable to put it away. Santa, if you’re reading this, please break this Clipper “curse” once and for all.

A solid defense

The Clipper’s defense has been shaky at times. The Clippers are currently 13th in opponent points per game, at 108 points game. Strong teams in the east such as Boston and Philadelphia are 3rd and 4th. We all know that defense wins championships, and to hoist that Larry O’Brien in June, the Clippers will have to work out some kinks in their defense.

A championship

Anything but the Larry O’Brien trophy at the end of this season will be a bust. I can’t think of anything more Clipper Nation is asking Santa. After years of potential in the Lob City era, the time is now for the Clippers

These four things are extremely important to the future of the LA Clippers and how their season plays out in June. However, right now, it’s important to relax and have a joyful holiday with friends and family. Happy holidays Clipper Nation!
