The last time the LA Clippers had two players who shared great chemistry with each other both on-and-off the court was when Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan were both on the team. That has all changed as the new bromance going on in LA is between Paul George and Patrick Beverley.

Back on March 9th of this past year, the Oklahoma City Thunder and LA Clippers squared off in a battle for seeding in the highly competitive Western Conference.

During that game, Patrick Beverley was given the assignment of guarding star forward Paul George. Keeping in mind that George’s shoulders weren’t 100% at the time, he looked off most of the night.

That same night, Beverley took to Twitter to express his pleasure for his effort and defense on George all night.

George didn’t mince words for Beverley on Twitter as he responded to his claim.

To add more fuel to the fire, both responded the following day.

The relationship between the two seemed at an all-time low on the floor but that would all change on the night of July 5th.

As we all recall, the Clippers would acquire Kawhi Leonard (via free agency) and Paul George (via trade).

What first seemed as two rivals on the court, would then become two competitive teammates on the floor embracing each other.

When Paul George first arrived in Los Angeles, one of his main goals was to be involved more in his community of Palmdale.

His first accomplishment for the city was partnering with NBA 2K to help renovate courts located in his old neighborhood where he grew up.

Along with the court unveiling, 2K decided to hold a celebrity video-game tournament right after.

The only Clipper player to show up and participate in the tournament was none other than guard Patrick Beverley.

Take a look at what all went down that night, on Paul George’s all-new YouTube channel that was created this past week (shot-out to ImBobbyBillions!).

Heading into the 2019-20 LA Clippers season, George would miss the first 11 games of the season recovering from surgery to repair both of his shoulders.

During Veteran’s Day Weekend, Paul George was honored at his college of Fresno State, where they honored him by hanging and retiring his number 24 jersey in the rafters.

Clippers forward Patrick Patterson mentioned that the players and staff set-up a group chat to see who wanted to go up to Fresno and surprise PG.

Mostly all the team was present, including Patrick Beverley.

The last time the Clippers had a fan-favorite duo that embraced each other was Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan.

Since Paul George’s return on November 14th against the Pelicans, I have noticed that whenever he or Patrick Beverley score against opposing teams they are constantly celebrating with one another, which is a sight Clipper fans love to see!

It is awesome to see the chemistry building not between these but also with the whole team.

The Clippers are currently in the middle of a six-game road trip that includes two homecomings.

The first takes place against the Indiana Pacers, where Paul George makes his return.

Next. What should the Clippers do with Jerome Robinson?. dark

The second takes place during Wednesday’s contest where Kawhi Leonard returns to the North and receives his 2019 NBA Championship ring from the Toronto Raptors.

Be sure to be on the lookout for those games, the return of Landry Shamet and Rodney McGruder, and much more content along the way.
