3. December 11 – @ Toronto Raptors

How funny would it be if Kawhi rested here? On December 11, Leonard returns to Toronto to receive his championship ring. After delivering on a title in his lone season with the Raptors, Kawhi left a bad taste in fan’s mouths after he departed for the Clippers.

The Raptors felt like they had done everything in their power to retain him, but the lure of playing at home was just too much. Seeing how the fans react to Kawhi returning is worth tuning in on its own.

The Raptors are no joke though. They sit in second place in the Eastern Conference currently at 15-4. Pascal Siakam somehow looks like the Most Improved Player for the second year in a row. He is putting up 25.6 points per game on 53.2 effective field goal percentage.

The Raptors will also have Kyle Lowry back in the lineup by the time of this game after he has missed a good chunk of the season with a thumb injury. His added scoring should make Toronto a pretty dangerous opponent for the Clippers.

This game will be broadcasted nationally on ESPN, so they will surely play up “The Return” as it gets closer. Ignoring all their incessant hyping up of the game, this one should actually be a pretty good watch.
