2. December 6 – @ Milwaukee Bucks

In the first game of a six-game road trip, the LA Clippers visit reigning MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks. This will be their second and final matchup of the season unless the two end up meeting in the NBA Finals.

Last time out, the Clippers caught a ton of flack for resting Kawhi Leonard. The game was on ESPN and had been marketed as a rematch of two superstars who dueled in the Eastern Conference Finals last season. When Kawhi was ruled out on the game, many decided it wasn’t worth a watch.

They were wrong. Giannis showed out, scoring 38 points, grabbing 16 rebounds and dishing out 9 assists. Despite that stellar play, the Clippers kept the game extremely close. The team played much how they did last year when they did not have a superstar and only lost by five points.

Montrezl Harrell and Lou Williams each dropped 34 points with Patrick Beverley adding in 20 of his own.

While we cannot say for certain that Kawhi or PG will play in this game, we have to assume that at least one of them does. Yes, it’s the first game of three in four nights, but with a day rest after this game, we think it’s more likely one or both of them sit out against Washington on the 8th or the Pacers on the 9th.

Even if we do just get one of our two All-Stars, this game is a must-watch just because of the possible meeting down the road in the playoffs. We only get to see Giannis twice a year so fans cannot miss this one.
