With a quarter of the season under the belt, here are six things LA Clippers’ fans can be thankful for so far this season.

1. Kawhi Leonard

Kawhi Leonard might just be the Clippers savior. All of the 2018-2019 season there were rumors (dreams) of him landing with the team, then all of a sudden they came true. Kawhi singlehandedly launched this team into contender status.

2. Paul George

Paul George was the next piece of the puzzle to fall. A few minutes after the announcement of the Kawhi Leonard signing Clippers fans learned they had also gained Paul George in a blockbuster trade. Together the two would form one of the most unstoppable duos in the NBA

3. Patrick Beverley and The Culture

The Clippers have longtime been a team known for toughness. The culture faded for a short amount of time but then returned with the arrival of Patrick Beverley. PatBev quickly reminded fans what it meant to be a Clipper and set the standard for the intensity the team would bring over the coming years.

4. Jerry West and Lawrence Frank

Together these men orchestrated the Clippers team we know today. By crafting the right trades at the right moments they were able to move the team from “retooling” to “competing” within 3 years.

5. Lou Williams and Montrezl Harrell

Not enough can be said about Lou Williams and Montrezl Harrell. There is no more electric duo in the NBA, let alone an NBA bench. Clippers fans are truly spoiled by being able to watch these two be able to play together. Thee only question is… who will win Sixth Man of the Year?

6. Doc Rivers

Doc Rivers joined the team during the Lob City Era, and it was believed he would lead us to a championship. He left the Celtics because he did not want to rebuild. He stuck with the franchise and now coaches maybe the best team in the league. His ability to coach players and build great sets is one of the reasons the team is currently where they are.
