LA Clippers: Which supporting cast was Kawhi Leonard’s best?
By Ethan Smith
The LA Clippers’ Kawhi Leonard has had some great supporting casts throughout the years, but which supporting cast was his best over his seven-year career?
After seeing the Clippers and Raptors face off in Los Angeles on Monday, the supporting cast of the Clippers came to Kawhi Leonard’s aid on an off night for The Claw, but what supporting cast has been the best in Kawhi’s storybook career?
Basketball is a sport led by superstars, but even superstars need a little help to win in the NBA.
This is especially true for two-time NBA champion and Finals MVP Kawhi Leonard, who has been coached by some of the best coaches in the NBA and has had some pretty solid teammates over the course of his seven-year career(Tim Duncan, Marc Gasol and now Paul George just to name a few).
The Spurs and Raptors both did solid jobs at giving Leonard the necessary complementary players to attain at least one championship against two of the NBA’s best dynasties in the form of the LeBron-led Miami Heat and the juggernaut that was The Hampton’s Five Golden State Warriors.
Supporting casts have been imperative to every superstar’s success and of course, Leonard is the main reason for his success in the NBA, but the San Diego State product may have his best supporting cast ever with the Los Angeles Clippers. Let’s rank all seven of Kawhi’s supporting casts, shall we?
