Number 3 – Seeing the team together

This one is obvious. Media Day is there to build hype for fans and get them fired up for the season. But just sit back and think how cool this really is.

For the first time, we are going to see Paul George and Kawhi Leonard IN their Clippers’ jerseys. Yes, we saw them hold some jerseys up when they were officially introduced, but does that count for much? I think not.

I’m only speaking for myself, but I would think that most of Clipper Nation have to agree with me that the events that transpired this summer still don’t seem real despite all the videos and pictures we have seen since then.

Seeing those two in Clippers’ jerseys will make this all finally seem real. It isn’t all about them though.

We have players who re-signed with the team like Patrick Beverley and JaMychal Green. We have our Sixth Man of the Year Lou Williams ready to tear up opposing benches with Montrezl Harrell by his side. We have players like Ivica Zubac who will tell us how they improved their game this summer. There’s just so much to be excited about.

This is the first time we have felt like true championship contenders. Yes, Lob City had some chances that they squandered, but has it ever felt like this? Have the Clippers ever had arguably the best player in the league?

Media Day is just a few hours away and there will be a lot of things to be excited for. Make sure you are following along with us on here and on Twitter for all your news, rumors and updates!
