NBA 2K20: Best center build to optimize time on LA Clippers
NBA 2K20 released and everyone is hopping on MyCareer. Want to play center for the LA Clippers? This build is your best way to get the most playing time.
Happy 2K Day! NBA 2K20 released today and if you are like me, you are eagerly waiting to get home and boot up the game. You may have spent your whole day researching player builds for MyCareer in order to find that perfect fit for Park and Pro-Am play.
What if I told you that I have a great build that will not only work well in both of those modes, but will also allow you to get a ton of minutes in MyCareer as a member of the LA Clippers?
Well, I do.
For the new pie charts, you’ll want to select the one that has a majority of red (defense/rebounding) with the blue, green and yellow (finishing, shooting and playmaking respectively) as even pieces.
When selecting your physical profile, select the one that has agility, strength and vertical as all an even third of the pie.
Potential time. Load up your finishing to the max for everything but close shot and post hook. Definitely put some points there, but they don’t need to hit the top. Only worry about free throw in the shooting section. For playmaking, you’ll want to max out that pass accuracy as well as ball handling. For the defense/rebounding section, max out that block and both rebounding categories. Pump up your block and steal too. They don’t have to be maxed, but you’ll want some points there. Finally, up your interior and perimeter defense.
For your height, drop him to 6’11. This gives you a big boost in speed, quickness, and ball handling. Bump his weight all the way up and you’ll only have a minimal deduction to lateral quickness while gaining interior defense.
If you have followed this, you should have 16 finishing badges, one badge apiece for both shooting and playmaking and 30 defensive/rebounding badges. Yes. Thirty.
I’m not going to tell you what to do with those badges, but just know you can make one heck of a scoring and rim protecting big man. He fits everything the Clippers need. Being a great rim protector and rebounder should have you hop into the Clips’ starting lineup quickly, overtaking Ivica Zubac.
The build works well next to the other Clippers’ players while still allowing you to share the court with Montrezl Harrell who should be able to space the court some. No, it’s probably not the most glamorous player, but you will get tons of chances to score and can easily average a double-double even when you are just starting out in your career.
Are you going to try this build? If not, what build will you try? Let us know on Twitter and good luck out there in NBA 2K20!
