LA Clippers 2019-20 Schedule Breakdown: October
Saturday, October 26 – @ Phoenix Suns
After a couple of tough marquee matchups, the Clippers head to Phoenix to face their weakest divisional foe in the Phoenix Suns.
Phoenix has question marks, as usual. There’s already speculation that Devin Booker could be on the move at some point this season. The addition of Ricky Rubio helps fill the hole at point guard that they’ve had for years, but having him and Booker on defense together just cannot be a good combination.
Kelly Oubre Jr., Mikal Bridges and Deandre Ayton round out the starting five. Phoenix has potential to be a really fun but bad team. They probably won’t win over 25 games (they won 19 last season), but there should be flashes of talent on some nights.
On paper, this should be a cakewalk for the Clips and assuming they grow the lead early, a perfect time to let Kawhi sit out most of the second half in order to stay fresh.
Clips win big.
