Thursday, October 24 – @ Golden State Warriors

For the second game of the year, we get the Golden State Warriors! Thanks NBA schedule makers! Once again, the Clippers will be on national television, this time as the Warriors unveil their brand new stadium.

This isn’t the Warriors team of years past though. Klay Thompson is out for most of the year with a torn ACL. Kevin Durant, Andre Iguodala and Shaun Livingston are no longer with the team. D’Angelo Russell is now on the roster. It’s weird.

Golden State doesn’t have the same depth as they did during their championship run. This bodes well for the Clippers, who at the very least have the top bench duo in the league in Montrezl Harrell and Lou Williams. The two should easily light up the Golden State bench.

The attack will be relentless as Golden State already had no solution for a one-legged Kawhi in the postseason. With him healthy and the bench duo providing additional scoring, the Clippers should spoil the unveiling for Golden State. They head to Phoenix at 1-1.
