With the release of the 2019-20 NBA schedule, the LA Clippers officially have a franchise record 26 games on national television.

The LA Clippers will be viewed a lot more by the casual fan this season. When the 2019-20 NBA schedule was released today, it was revealed the team will have a franchise-high 26 nationally televised games. The 26 games is the third most of any team, ranking behind only the Los Angeles Lakers and the Golden State Warriors.

The national schedule features eleven games on TNT, eleven games on ESPN and four games on ABC. This total of 26 does not even count games on NBA TV, which we know the team will also have, including their third game of the season at Phoenix versus the Suns.

With Kawhi Leonard and Paul George both joining the Clippers, it’s no surprise that the team earned 26 nationally televised games compared to last year’s three when the schedule was released. The two bring the Clips up to contention level, so it makes sense that the league wants them in the spotlight as often as possible.
