Question #1 – How many games will the Clippers win in the 2019-20 regular season?

One over-riding theme about these answers is how realistic Clippers fans are. Believe me when I say that is not necessarily true of all fans of professional basketball teams in Los Angeles! Other fans are so passionate they sometimes can’t see past the rose-colored glasses. Clippers fans tend to lean more towards realistic optimism than just flat out everything is going to be great optimism. Case in point:

For a team that won 48 games in the regular season last year and added two All-Stars to the team you would be forgiven for thinking they would win 60+. However, Clippers fans, on top of being realistic are knowledgeable. They know that Kawhi Leonard and his team implemented load management last season to ensure he was healthy and fresh when the playoffs came around. Yes, they also know that Leonard said it’s at least possible this season won’t mirror last ones in regards to load management. Regardless, Clippers fans are cautiously and realistically optimistic.

Answer #1 – Clippers will win between 50 to 58 games in the upcoming season

Question #2 – Who will be the Clippers unsung hero?

This is the guy expected to contribute big when the moment calls for it. Think Steve Kerr hitting a big three after a pass from Michael Jordan. Consider Robert Horry hitting the three that gave the Lakers their only lead of the game against the Kings as the clock showed 0:00. Or Derek Fisher hitting his off balance prayer with 0.4. These are the guys that aren’t necessarily All Stars, but are absolutely winners. Every championship team needs a player like that.

Based on your answers, the Clippers have several!

Landry Shamet was the odds on favorite to his that big shot. Considering he did it last season against the Warriors, he is a solid pick. Most telling about this team however is that eight other players received votes. Some were write-ins! Suffice it to say that fan confidence is high on players 1 through 15 on this team.

Answer #2 – Landry Shamet will be the Clippers unsung hero
