With free agency barely behind us and the season still a ways away, we got your predictions for the LA Clippers in 2019-20.

As an NBA fan this is a tough time of year. As an NBA writer, this is an excruciating time of year. As a fan, you have to wait for the season to start. As a writer, you have to think hard about writing something you have never written before when there really isn’t much to write about.

The roster is set, the big decisions have been made so now it’s time to…wait.

Of course, another key ingredient during this most boring of times is strong desire to prognosticate. This is when you will find articles telling you why your team will win more games than next season. Or why your best player is due for a breakout season after being snubbed by a poll of 20 NBA coaches, executives and scouts. I mean, you know, hypothetically.

This time of year is all about waiting and guessing for NBA fans and writers.

So, it seemed appropriate to me to write an article about what you, the waiting fans, guess the upcoming season will look like for the LA Clippers. It’s the perfect combination of the two key ingredients of this most boring of times. Thankfully, you all did not disappoint!

We asked all Clippers fans to look into their Clipper Crystal Ball and determine what the upcoming season will look like for the revamped Clippers. We reached out to some of the more famous Clippers fans including Billy Crystal, James L. Brooks and Rondell Sheridan. It may surprise you to know we heard back from two of the three!

Only one actually answered our questionnaire, but that’s still pretty good!

In addition to one celebrity we heard from several Clippers fans and one Clippers beat writer, Jovan Buha. A celebrity of sorts in his own right! To all of you who answered we convey a hearty thank you! It was wonderful to hear from you. It was wonderful to see your optimism for the Clippers upcoming season as well as your realistic answers.

Thank you!

Now, lets see what you all had to say.
