The LA Clippers have had (possibly) the best off-season out of all 30 teams with their summer splashes in Kawhi Leonard and Paul George. Today, I will show you how experienced this roster truly is.

The roster that the LA Clippers have managed to assemble in the last couple of weeks is looking very intriguing in terms of size and play.

The team is versatile at every position and is still seeking to fill out two more roster spots (ex. Shaun Livingston, Andre Iguodala, Dwight Howard) for the 15-man roster.

The talk of the town as of late is how the Clippers depth will play a major factor heading into this season as we will dive deeper into that shortly.

Not only will depth play a huge role but mostly all of the players on the roster have previously learned from and played with some of the league’s best players.

Here is the list of current Clippers that have played with former/current NBA stars:

Kawhi Leonard

Paul George

Lou Williams

Patrick Beverley

Montrezl Harrell

  • w/Rockets (2015-2017): James Harden, Dwight Howard
  • w/Clippers (2017-current): Blake Griffin, DeAndre Jordan, Tobias Harris

Landry Shamet

Ivica Zubac

  • w/Lakers (2016-2019): LeBron James
  • w/Clippers (2019-current): Lou Williams

  • w/Clippers (2019-current): Lou Williams, Tobias Harris

*Rookies/Two-Way players not accounted for on the list

Why experience matters

Come postseason time, should this same team still be the same, every member on the Clippers roster (excluding rookies/two-way players) will have played in the NBA Playoffs before.

Not only was the team looking for solid vets, but they were looking at tough-minded players who come through during crunch time and the Clippers definitely have that.
