Guards
Patrick Beverley – 79 Overall
Beverley is a tough one to do. Like I said, 2k heavily favors offensive players and while he knocked down nearly 40% of his 3.6 attempts from deep last season, Bev is not known for his scoring. He’s a tough defender and a dog on the court. He’ll have several badges for his defense and hustling, but don’t expect a high overall rating.
Lou Williams – 85 Overall
The two-time reigning Sixth Man of the Year should get a pretty solid rating this season. Lou is coming off his second highest scoring season (his first being 2017-18 with the Clips) and should have just as effective of a year this season. 2k favors offense, right? That means Lou will be pretty useful.
Landry Shamet – 78 Overall
Shamet doesn’t get a huge bump this season, despite playing great for the Clippers in the second half of the season. His shooting should be great to start off, but he’s not in the same class as the top-shooters just yet.
I expect him to be one of the guys to get a solid boost as the season goes on.
Rodney McGruder – 74 Overall
McGruder didn’t appear in a game for the Clippers last season after he was acquired, so many fans may not know what to expect. What they are getting is a capable shooter from deep (34.8% career 3P%) who can provide the bench with some more offensive firepower. He won’t knock your socks off, but expect him to contribute this season.
Jerome Robinson – 72 Overall
Last season wasn’t a disappointment for Jerome, but it didn’t show us a whole lot either. This wasn’t his fault as he just got buried in the rotation. We did see some flashes of his potential in the first round playoff series versus the Warriors, but it probably wasn’t enough for 2k to justify giving him anything above a low 70’s ranking.
Terance Mann – 70 Overall
One of our two Florida State rookies, Terrance Mann will likely start out low. He showed us a lot in Summer League to make us fall in love and hopefully that translates over to the regular season.
