With NBA 2k20 slowly revealing player’s ratings, we take our best guesses at what each member of the LA Clippers will be overall.

NBA 2k20 has slowly started to reveal player’s overall ratings in this year’s iteration of the game. On Monday night, several star players were rated, including the LA Clippers’ Kawhi Leonard and Paul George.

Leonard was a game-high 97 overall (tied with LeBron James) while George received a 93 overall. The duo was the second highest rated superstar pairing, placing only behind James and Anthony Davis of the Los Angeles Lakers.

Outside of those two for the Clippers, none of the team’s other players have received their overall. 2k ratings mean a lot to the players. Each year, when they are released, the internet goes into a frenzy trying to decide who was over or underrated.

Today, I’ll try to predict what their overall rating will be once 2k launches on September 5.

First, here’s how 2k claims they decide on ratings:

Seems fair enough, right? It’s worth remembering an overall rating is, well, overall. A player like Lou Williams might be a star on the offensive end, but lack on defense, so the rating drops.

It is worth noting that, in my experience, 2k seems to favor offensive players more. Players like Stephen Curry and Damian Lillard are amazing scorers, but their defense isn’t anything to write home about. Still, both are ranked in the nineties when it comes to overall rating.

With that in mind, let’s jump into the predictions, starting with the LA Clippers’ group of guards.
