The LA Clippers roster is full of players that are well-known for what they bring to the table, but what about the players that haven’t peaked yet?

It’s been a fun offseason for the LA Clippers, to say the least. In addition to bringing back some of the best players from the 2018-2019 roster, the Clippers have made numerous deals to bring in new talent, such as Kawhi Leonard, Paul George and Maurice Harkless.

With a lot of those players, the Clippers know what they’re getting. Leonard is one of the best players in the game today, George offers roughly the same two-way skillset, and Harkless is a defensive stopper with an up-and-down three-point shot.

Some other players offer a defined skillset as well, but the level at which they’ll perform in the upcoming season is uncertain. We don’t know how big of a jump those players are going to make, how well they’ll fit in with their new team, etc.

A few of them are yet to have a true breakout campaign, which is what we’ll be focusing on here. These are the guys that are going to be good, but have yet to reach their true potential and could take a significant step forward in the upcoming season. The size of the jump will vary from player to player, but each one listed has a decent shot at playing at a much higher level for the Clippers in 2019-2020.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander would have topped this list had it been made a few weeks ago, but now that he’s with the Oklahoma City Thunder, he won’t be here. After the year he put together in Los Angeles, he’s primed to become one of the better point guards in the league next year. And even though he won’t be wearing a Clippers jersey, our fans will surely still be keeping an eye on him and keeping track of how he performs with his new team.

Without straying too far from our own roster, let’s get into this.
