LA Clippers: Kawhi and PG Should Be Highest Rated Duo in NBA 2K20

NBA2K20 had their ratings release and announced that Lebron and Anthony Davis were the best rated duo above Paul George and Kawhi Leonard. Here is why the highest rated duo in LA should be the Clippers duo rather than the Lakers.

NBA 2K always takes the basketball world by storm every year with the newest installment of the game coming out each fall. Before the game releases however, fans are treated to how their favorite players are rated on the newest game and this year was especially different with so many duos joining forces in the NBA.

With that said, NBA2K announced the highest rated duos in 2K20, and lets just say the results were not warm to Clipper Nation.

The LA teams took the top two spots, with Lebron and AD having an average rating of 95.5 while Kawhi Leonard and Paul George are a close second with an average rating of 95.

Of course Lebron and AD are outstanding players, but after seasons where both players failed to make the postseason and the two created craziness in the NBA with rumors of a trade at the deadline, I personally don’t understand why they are better rated than Kawhi and PG.

PG and Kawhi are likely the best wing defensive duo we have seen in a very long time and both players averaged a combined 27.3 PPG, 7.7 RPG and 3.7 APG last season, with Kawhi winning his second NBA Championship and Paul George finishing third in the MVP voting behind Giannis and James Harden.

Meanwhile James and Davis averaged collectively 26.6 PPG, 10.2 RPG and 6.1 APG. Of course the duo rebounds better with Davis being a big man and assists better with Lebron being a primary ball handler allowing him to get more assists.

The duo of Kawhi and PG is much better defensively than Lebron and AD and also played much better last season and yes, despite injury issues with AD and Lebron, the overall game that Kawhi and PG played just looked better on their respective teams and the results spoke for themselves.

Of course the battle of LA is tons more important in real life and not on a video game, but if you are picking up the sticks and loading up NBA2K20, you should choose the Clippers duo along with a stellar supporting cast.

The Clippers will play much better defensively in the game than the Lakers. Beverley, George and Kawhi will have significant defensive badges to guard their respective matchups and will likely be the best defensive team in the game besides maybe the Utah Jazz.

Also, NBA2K20 is dedicated to the shot beyond the arc, which Kawhi and PG will easily do much better in that department than their counterparts in Staples Center.

Three-pointers and defense. That is why Kawhi and PG should be a better 2K duo. Load up the game and play as Kawhi and PG before Lebron and AD because you want to win right?
