3. Los Angeles Lakers

Playing 2k with LeBron James will always be fun. Add Anthony Davis in and you are set to have a good time.

The Lakers may not have assembled the strongest roster to surround their two superstars, but they did get pieces that are good in 2k. DeMarcus Cousins and Rajon Rondo will probably be ranked better than they actually are. Kyle Kuzma can do it all.

This is all to say, the Lakers are going to be very good and very used in NBA 2k20.

The addition of Danny Green gives you great defense and shooting, which should be easy to set up now that LeBron is at point guard.

Running with superstars has always been big in online play and the Lakers have one of the top superstar duos in the league. Defending Davis and LeBron will be sort of a “pick your poison” scenario as locking both down will be near impossible.

The Lakers are obviously the most popular team in the NBA, so expect to see a ton of purple and gold when you hop online this season.
