4. Philadelphia 76ers

This team was tough to rank. The Philadelphia 76ers should be very good and may be the favorite to come out of the East. However, for video game purposes, they’re a little weird.

Their lineup is massive, which is great. Al Horford, Tobias Harris and Joel Embiid are the biggest frontcourt in the league and Ben Simmons is the biggest point guard not named LeBron James (given his move there this season).

Big is good. But in 2k, speed matters a lot too. So does shooting. Harris is a knockdown shooter, but while both Embiid and Horford are capable, I’m not sure how often the trigger should be pulled. Ben Simmons has no business even attempting a shot from deep.

There isn’t a ton of bench scoring either. Mike Scott can come in and cover a few positions, but 2k players may not be very confident.

Defensively, if you can keep teams in front of you, there should be little to no paint scoring. But that’s just it. Getting out and running on this team could cause problems quickly. (See what I did there?)

This isn’t to say I’m not high on Philly. They are in my top four for a reason. Fans just need to know that the in game product may not translate as well as the on the court version.
