8. Brooklyn Nets
Using the logic that 2k favors guards with the dribble stick, it only makes sense to have the Brooklyn Nets in the top ten. Kyrie Irving is the epitome of a 2k player. He can make ridiculous dribble moves, finish at the rim and knock down threes.
By himself, he’s a blast. This year, he is partnered up with not one, but two big men capable of protecting the rim and catching lobs in Jarrett Allen and DeAndre Jordan.
The Nets are one of the more rounded teams in the game, featuring several players that you can go to when opponents are completely focused on Kyrie. Caris Levert, Spencer Dinwiddie and Rondae Hollis-Jefferson can all get you some buckets.
The Nets would have ranked near the top of this list if Kevin Durant were healthy. With 2k doing active roster updates, fans likely won’t get to use him online all season as he recovers from his Achilles injury.
The Nets will be up higher on the list for years to come, but today they’ll have to settle for eighth.
