With NBA 2k20’s reveal, we look at the top 10 teams to play with online. Where does the newly formed LA Clippers team rank?

Another wild offseason means all of our NBA 2k rosters are out of date. Yes, we can download one of the thousands of custom ones available online, but the majority of us will move on to NBA 2k20, which releases September 6.

With so much movement during free agency, it’s time for players to start thinking about what teams they will use when playing online.

Honorable Mentions

There are a couple of teams that probably just aren’t good enough to use consistently, but are fun in their own right.

Oklahoma City Thunder

This one is strictly for trolling reasons. Assuming CP3 is still on the team by the time 2k comes out, the Thunder could be fun to play with to mess with people while still competing. Rocking a starting lineup of Chris Paul, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Andre Roberson, Danilo Gallinari and Steven Adams, there is just enough shooting and defense to win games. Having Dennis Schroder off the bench also gives you a little more firepower.

No, you probably won’t blow teams away, but the Thunder are at least a nice change of pace from the norm online.

Atlanta Hawks

Trae Young‘s game was made for video games. Couple him with John Collins and the Hawks become pretty darn fun to use. Kevin Huerter adds in shooting and Jabari Parker gives you even more firepower.

The defense will be lacking, but as long as you are putting up points in 2k, you are likely going to be fine.

With those two out of the way, let’s jump into our top ten.
