Since purchasing the LA Clippers back in 2014 for $2 Billion, Owner Steve Ballmer has remarkably turned around one the league’s laughing-stock franchises around in just 5 years.

After their big summer plans came to fruition, the LA Clippers are heading into the 2019-20 NBA season looking like favorites to make it out the West and hoist their coveted Larry O’Brien trophy for the first time.

None of this is possible though without the likes of the richest owner in all 4-major sports (MLB, NFL, NBA, NHL) and former Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer.

The old Clipper teams and management under Donald Sterling was known to be a circus around rival teams but that has now changed as they no longer resemble that.

Steve Ballmer deserves a round of applause and standing ovation for his short time as the owner of the LA Clippers as he has done wonders not only for the team, but also impacting the lives of others in the community.

He has changed the overall experience at STAPLES Center and made it more entertaining for all audiences.

But the most important thing that Mr. Ballmer has contributed to is the product on the floor and in the front-office.

Previous owner Donald Sterling was known around the league for being cheap and rather letting his players walk then re-signing them.

That is why today, we will re-live some of Steve Ballmer’s achievements and accomplishments year-by-year with the LA Clippers and detail why the team should be considered one the prominent franchises in the league.
