Now on the brink of free agency, we identify the top players that the LA Clippers should consider bringing in this summer.

LA Clippers fans have all been waiting a long time for this day to come, and now it’s finally here — the beginning of free agency.

All season long, everything has been building up to this. All the rumors, all the speculation, all the information about where guys like Kawhi Leonard and Kevin Durant might end up. We won’t get the answers to all of those questions today, but in the coming weeks, they’ll be key in deciding the future of the league.

It seems like every top player out there has multiple options available to them that they’ll consider. Leonard is expected to end up with one of three teams, including the Clippers, Toronto Raptors and Los Angeles Lakers, while Durant is expected to consider the Clippers, Golden State Warriors, Brooklyn Nets and New York Knicks.

It doesn’t help when players like Nikola Vucevic, who’s been considered to be on of LA’s targets, have already made their intentions clear to sign elsewhere this summer. The Athletic‘s Shams Charania reported Saturday night that Vucevic will commit to a four-year deal with the Orlando Magic once free agency begins, taking him off the Clippers’ board and giving the team one less option to pursue. Had that not been the case, he likely would have made this list.

Luckily, there are enough quality players out there — four of them, in my opinion — that the Clippers can go after once the buzzer sounds this afternoon.

Each would add a significant level of talent that the Clippers’ roster has been lacking, and with several All-Star selections under each of their belts, they could come in right away and potentially make the team a title contender.

Without getting too far into things, here are the players we’ve identified as being the main free agent targets for the LA Clippers.
