2. Jared Harper – Auburn

I have always loved small, fast guards who star at working at a fast pace and never get tired. Harper fits this bill perfectly.

Harper stands at 5-foot-11 and before Auburn’s crazy NCAA tournament run, many didn’t think Harper would catch any attention from the NBA, but why not?

The youngster can shoot from anywhere on the court, has insane pick-and-roll intelligence, played at a super fast tempo at Auburn and and has the same style of intensity that compares to Beverley.

Yes, Harper would likely create one of the worst defensive backcourts in the NBA off the bench with Lou, but most benches are created to score, not defend. Keep in mind Harper kept up the tempo for an average of 32.9 minutes per game while averaging 15.3 PPG and 5.8 APG. Imagine what he could do off the bench for 10-15 minutes.

Harper is attractive as a backup and could even go undrafted solely due to his lack of size but I think the Clippers could take a shot at Harper and add more scoring off the bench.
