The LA Clippers have set themselves up with assets galore; Anthony Davis represents a way to turn those assets into a superstar.

With recent reports that the New Orleans Pelicans are listening to trade offers for Anthony Davis, Clippers fans are divided on whether or not they want the team to pursue the superstar forward.

There’s no doubt that AD has been an impact player for years in the league. Very few guys have the capability to put up great numbers on offense while being an elite defensive presence and incredible rebounder like Davis.

The question with Davis is whether he can stay on the court, and whether he’ll stay with the team after next year – after all, he does have a player option and could walk. That said, he has listed the Clippers as one of his preferred destinations, so perhaps some confidence in that regard could be warranted.

Earlier, we discussed a few reasons that the Clippers shouldn’t pursue AD. Here are three reasons that the Clippers should go all-in on the Davis chase and gamble on him re-signing.
