11. Kevin Huerter – SG

2018-19 Stats: 9.7 PTS, 42% FG, 3.3 REB, 2.9 AST, 0.9 STL

Although he was far from the most famous rookie on the Atlanta Hawks this season, Kevin Huerter still was really good.

The Red Mamba can shoot. He hit 38.5% of his 4.7 attempts from deep. He made a season-high six of nine versus Indiana on December 31 in a game where he finished with 22 points. His high for the season was 29, versus Philadelphia on January 11.

Partnered next to Trae Young, Huerter will be a solid running mate. Atlanta has a bright future between these two and John Collins, which is why so many were hoping that the top pick and Zion Williamson would find their way to the ATL.

Unfortunately the lottery balls didn’t fall their way, but the Hawks have both the 8th and 10th pick. If they strike gold again like they did with Huerter and Young, they could be a real force to be reckoned with in a few years.

10. Collin Sexton – PG

2018-19 Stats: 16.7 PTS, 43% FG, 2.9 REB, 3.0 AST, 0.5 STL

Collin Sexton was pretty much the lone bright spot for the Cavaliers this season. With the departure of LeBron James and with Kevin Love hurt on and off for most of the season, Sexton was given the green light.

He took complete advantage of it. His 16.7 points per game ranked third among his fellow rookies. Sexton might be a good stats on a bad team type of guy, but we won’t know for a while still. For now, he shows promise with his ability. Still, some in the organization believe he would be better suited as a sixth man. Perhaps that role will fit him better, but for now he can continue to work in his starting role.
