Julius Randle

Another big who has the traits this team seems to love, Julius Randle is aggressive and gritty with an insatiable hunger for boards. Currently he has a player option for next year which he may or may not opt into. Should he opt out, expect him to have no end of interest across the league.

Playing at the 4 or 5, Randle would slot into this starting line-up and instantly provide improvement. While he is not a stretch-4, he has shot a respectable 34.4% from 3 this season which is a notable improvement on a career average of 30.7%. But it is his work down low that would benefit this team. This year he has averaged 21.4 points per game on 30.6 minutes connecting, 52.4% of his shots from the field whilst grabbing 8.4 rebounds and dishing out 3 assists – this is over 73 regular season games.

Another player who is not considered a star but has the ability to improve the roster, you should expect his rebound numbers to increase if he moves as he will not be sharing these with Anthony Davis. While he would cost more the Kevon Looney to sign, he has already proved his place within the league and one would assume to would to show the Lakers why they were wrong to let him leave.

He’s another player who at 24 would fit in with the teams time-line whilst filling a position of need. He would not be as low-key of a pick-up as others but would be a valuable asset depending on the contract.
